Meet the Team

Owner/Founder, Plumber
Zac Risen began his plumbing career in 2016, following in his father’s footsteps after graduating from Fairdale High School. He soon joined the UA Local 502’s apprenticeship program, and, after completing the program, started Risen Plumbing in 2023 with experience in residential, commercial, and industrial service, new construction, and remodeling. He currently lives in New Albany, IN with his wife, Alizabeth, and daughter, Olivia Violet.

Apprentice
David Heady, a native and resident of Louisville, began his plumbing career in 2019 after formerly becoming a journeyman through the IUOE Local 181. He has since used his talents as a skilled equipment operator within the field of plumbing, working primarily on underground service line installations until joining the Local 502's apprenticeship program in 2024. He eventually became the second employee of Risen Plumbing and has enjoyed learning about new construction, remodels, and service plumbing both below and above ground, honing his skills in both excavation and plumbing.
